Yet another celebration of life for a very special saxophone player, Ben Kincaid. Ben was a supernaturally talented jazz musician, world traveler and community advocate from Wichita, KS. When he died in June of 2022, he left behind a rich legacy of music intertwined with social practice for the good of everyone around him, down to helping provide food for our most vulnerable neighbors. That’s why this year of BenFest is the Potluck Edition: bring a thoughtful dish to bring people together. Performing are the Josue Estrada Band, Caleb Abbott Collective, Anima, Sunblush and TANGERINE. There will also be an eco-art workshop led by Dr. Lori Santos, Art Education Director of Wichita State University as well as other interactive art installations. Harvester Arts’ donation-based drink bar will be open for patrons.
